About Me

Originally from San Diego, Phil Shell moved to the Bay Area in 2006 and immediately made himself at home, putting his business skills to work as a managing partner of Otis Lounge, one of the city’s popular night spots. “The beauty and progressive energy is what brought me to San Francisco,” he says. “I also love a cool ocean breeze.”

Phil began his professional career in the Los Angeles music industry, gaining marketing and promoting expertise that would prove valuable as a real estate professional. His mastery of cutting-edge marketing and technology tools — as well as his professional network of architects, designers, stagers, builders, and inspectors — serves his clients in their quest for the perfect property.

But Phil’s greatest strength is client care. His ability to forge personal connections benefits a diverse clientele in California as well as Nevada. Fluent in Spanish and English, he’s equally at ease with buyers, sellers, and investors. As a certified first-time-buyer specialist, he holds a special affection for new homeowners.

Phil is active in several Bay Area community organizations, including the San Francisco Auxiliary for Children, Family House, HackCancer, Root Division, the Jewish Community Federation, and several others. He’s also a founding member of Affect the Youth, a nonprofit that awards college scholarships. In his leisure time, he enjoys music, sports, and traveling.
